Fired for having the audacity to suggest that it's patriotic to rub one out.

Or something like that. You're right, I don't remember many Surgeon Generals.

    •  Whoops - Surgeons General (5+ / 0-)

I should know better than to screw that one up, but the plural of Surgeon General is Surgeons General.

      •  Thank you. It's also courts martial, plural. Not (1+ / 0-)

that I'm saying that the surgeon general should have the right to court martial doctors, nurses or even pharmacists who do not do their job duty because of their religious beliefs...wait, yes, I do. Anyone who put's their belief in their invisible-friend-in-the-sky above their Hippocratic Oath, Nightingale Pledge, or even their damn job description, should be subject to court martial.

Loss of license a certainty, prison time a possibility, depending on outcome. Make that a part of the job description, and yes, I'd want Howard as Surgeon General. Other than that, he's too valuable to us with 2010 looming.

Remember what FDR said, "I agree with you, I want to do it, now make me do it." Have you written/called a congress-critter today? -8.25, -6.21
