  •  Howard Dean Would Be Better Without The SG Post (2+ / 0-)

The SG post is too low-profile for Dean.  As the founder of the Democracy for America, it would be better for Dean to travel the country and continue improving the progressive liberals' grassroot organizations throughout the country.

Giving Dean the SG post sounds more like Rahm Emanuel's plot to confine and marginalize Dean for a long time during the Obama administration.  I want Dean to be active in politics than be confined to a low-profile administration post.

Lindsay Lohan has better judgment than 40% of Americans. She endorsed Obama and Biden.

I can understand your reasoning, Gorestro, that the SG position could be a "poison pawn" to keep Dean quiet.  But anyone who knows him or has studied his career knows thats simply not possible especially on an a spectrum of issues--health care--that Dean is so involved with.  The SG has a bully pulpit too and can easily be heard especially if there is going to be a major effort at health care reform.  Dean can always grab headlines and get on t.v.
