  •  Note to people who diary about (0+ / 0-)
    technical issues as if they're experts in that field - you'll impress more people, and not flame out, if you show you have some actual expertise in the subject matter, rather than just an outsider's guess at what takes place.  
      Don't assume that there aren't any readers here who have enough expertise in the area you write about to call you on your B.S.

      I'm technically an expert in American politics (or at least in scholarly inquiry therein).  But for obvious reasons, any efforts to enforce your point in that area would be futile.

        If you state that the Earth revolves around the moon, that's a technical (science) issue with which you are obviously not an expert on, based on your erroneous claim.
         If you write about how moonlight inspires you, that's a subjective opinion not requiring expertise, and you're entitled to say anything you like.

          I know hard scientists tend to be pretty dismissive of the epistemological worth of social science.  But equating it with "how moonlight inspires you" seems a bit extreme, no?
