    The whole point is to get something on paper.  Then you can go back and clean it up if your serious about doing anything with it.  The problem is that most people don't have the time to sit down and begin, let alone get down 50,000 words.  Once you do, you can continue and work with it.

    I had an Eng. prof in undergrad who subscribed to the same theory - get it on the paper and then you can play with it, clean it up, etc.  The hard part is the initial writing.

      For many of us writers, the hardest part is getting something down on paper.  Once I have spit out a few pages of a short story, it becomes infinitely easier to work with it.  My problem has always been getting to that point that and this project certainly aims to cure that.
