    When a private business provides an essential public need -- which, I submit, the provision of pharmaceuticals is -- then it should be regarded as a public service and be subject to government regulation.  And if such a business is operated in a way that is detrimental to the public welfare, then it should be legally required to come back in line, regardless of the proprietor's political views.  A public utility cannot, for instance, decide to cut off your electricity because its owner thinks you might use the electricity to view pornography.

    And while in this particular case, the business may have closed on its own, the circumstances have already created hardships for customers who will have had to find other, perhaps less advantageously sited pharmacies to fill their prescriptions.  In a large urban area this might be a small inconvenience.  In a rural area, where pharmacies are hundreds of miles apart, it could be life-threatening.

      Which rules are we talking about -

      the rules which SHOULD BE, or,
      the rules which ARE.

      The rules SHOULD BE:

      - public or private business, when it comes to healthcare, you either sell to everyone, or, get outta business.

      The rules which ARE:

      due to the pro-choice movement's completely incompetent messaging, tactics and strategy,

      healthcare businesses are on about the same playing field as Wendy's!!

      I'm glad when I hear that a local business won't do business won't serve a certain clientele! I do NOT spend my money there, fuck them.

      Since we can't edit subject lines, I should have said ... I'm glad they were up front about their marketing?

      +++++++++++

      OF COURSE pharmacies should stock what is legal.

      Why don't they? Blame the pro-choice incompetents, NOT the mouth breathers for being mouth breathers.

      rmm.
