    Many people are asking why Corker would sign a letter that makes a claim he knows is false.  It's a great question.

    Because Republicans know how to engineer party discipline.  Democrats...meh not so much...

      Dems can afford a little peel-off in the House and in the Senate, they've pulled together on every major initiative from the Obama White House.

      is one Republican who will be willing to cut off debate before a vote.  And they may have trouble finding that person.

      But let's not kid ourselves.  The Dems do have 50 votes for this thing; in fact, they probably have 59 votes.  (Lieberman and Ben Nelson are always wild cards, but I think they'll come around.)  The whole question is whether or not all 41 Republicans will support a filibuster.
