    The bill allows for "endless taxpayer bailouts" in the same way the HCR bill included "death panels." It doesn't.

    The fund in question was Corker's idea, worked out in bipartisan talks with Warner. Just like the medicare provision that supposedly created "death panels" came from a Republican--before they turned on it for cheap political advantage.

    The Democrats have agreed to take it out & McConnell still won't budge.

    He wants to "start over." Where have heard that before?

    Your mistake is believing that anything the Republicans say or do is a.) truthful and b.) offered in good faith.

    We've seen for 18 months now--heck, for a decade now, that this is not the case. Words have no meaning for them, they are simply something to be manipulated for short term political gain.
