Typically politicians are afraid to confront voters over voting for a GOP that says one thing (fiscal conservatism) and does another (deficits, debt).

In Iowa, with no chance of unseating Grassley, do some seeding of the ground and confront the voters and confront Grassley on his hypocrisy and the failure of GOP policies.

that Grassley will be defeated this year, and by Roxanne Conlin!

That said, however, I still agree with you.  Cons are not going to stop their shell games, etc, unless they're confronted head-on.  I would love to see Grassley be confronted directly during a debate on those issues you listed.  I would love to see him forced to answer for his past deeds (or lack thereof).  If it's televised, all the better too!

In the meantime, we need to be more direct in our descriptions of the republiCONs.  We need to be more disciplined in our messaging and call them out for the manipulators, con artists, cheats and liars that they are.  They are getting away with further ruining our Country; the time is NOW to get the message out there, loud and clear!

Besides, there's never any reason to vote for a republicon; unless, of course, you are either rich or racist (or both).

to argue with this guy that Conlin could win..he has the perfect crystal ball and has already declared that Alex Giannoulias and now Conlin stand no chance vs their GOP opponents with 6 months to go.
