    The first three articles I read were wrong.

    The Court refused to grant an injunction.  That is wrong as a matter of fact, but it isn't a plain denial of their duties under the Constitution.

    The Supreme Court will hear and decide the full case at a later date. As multiple sates are parties to the suit, the Supreme Court has original jurisdiction in this case.

      Moreover, the federal government believed that Michigan and the other states should have filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court instead of attempting to go directly to the Supreme Court.

      This is a blatantly absurd argument by the federal government.  I'm glad to see that the Supreme Court appears not to have explicitly agreed with this inane and absurd claim.  But I'm very disturbed that the Obama administration won't respect a Constitutional rule as simple and clear as this one: a dispute between two states goes directly to the Supreme Court.
