    the average person has the ability to fight back most effectively by not buying shit. Put your money in a non-speculative credit union, and don't buy shit.

    However, we all want that new house, new car, or education that gets us out of flipping burgers. Or all those trinkets that gobble up our credit cards. Then, we've sold ourselves to a lifetime of debt slavery and the system continues.

    But the idea that we must grow our own food, must bike or use public transportation and not unconsciously consume shit is simply incomprehensible.

    Instead, we have defeatism. "The system is too big, I can't stop it" ... or more lately, simply being offered the "choice" of debt/wage slavery or oppressive poverty.
