we have this embargo is that the Cuban exiles in Miami hate Castro's guts and congress doesn't have the kohonas to cross them.

As a viable foreign policy, this farce is asinine.  I mean, holy crap, we and the Vietnamese shot at each other, and relations have been normalized for years.
For that matter we traded lead with the Chinese in Korea as well.

Presumably, the exiles are "concerned" about the common people in Cuba and how they are being mistreated by Castro.  What bullshit.  This policy mistreats the common people in Cuba.  If you want to change communism, you trade with it.  Look at Russia and China.  The Chinese are still communists, but they've at least embraced trade and are evolving.  Their young people are embracing American culture.

What does the North Korean attitude toward the world have in common with the U.S. attitude toward Cuba?  Knuckle-dragging stone age.

You should have gotten this guy's name and badge number and filed a written complaint on him for his impertinent comments.  His job is to ask the proper questions and follow the law.  That does not include smartass editorial comments.  The complaint would be investigated and would go on his record.  The brass are really sensitive to their image.  I know.  I used to work for these guys.
