But where are the nutters on the left.  I'm serious, who and where are they?  I have never seen anything to compare with the "right nutters."

really any difference between the progressives who sign on to various Obama conspiracy theories and the teabaggers.  No facts, a blissful ignorance of reality, and a lot of rage and victimy stuff.  We can spell, however, so our signs would be better.

but I have seen the Obama haters on the left and they seem to dislike him not hate him.  Most of the opposition I have seen is rooted in policy differences and a general feeling that he is too middle of the road and has sold out to the corpocracy.

For me, personally, I have been disappointed in his administration's continuination of the Bush modus operandi vis-a-vis spying, wiretapping, and treatment of suspected terrorists.  Some of this I attribute to the general fear of Democrats inside the beltway of being perceived as soft on terror.

I have seen nothing that compares to Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and the Tea partiers and, here in Georgia, most every statewide elected Republican has tilted so far right as to have lost their common sense.  We have nothing like this on the left.

a lousy mood, mostly disappointed.  I expect more and better critical thinking from progressives and this week I've wondered if there's any point to being politically involved anymore.  I'll get over my bad self.  I might as well accept the truth that outrage sells, and it doesn't have to be fact-based.  At least on this side of the aisle there tends to be a move back toward sanity & common-sense after the storm.  On the other side the race to the cliff just intensifies.
