Hell, maybe we should all pair off for a couple hours respite from the struggle.

    •  there is no respite from the struggle (21+ / 0-)

and there never has been since man first stood upright and walked the earth.

There is movement, sometimes that movement is forward, sometimes it is backwards.

This is not being defeatist. Man, generic man, holds the future of his own race and the future of every living sentient thing on the planet in his hands.  Life does not come with  Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval and despite Americans fervent belief that we can fix everything, we cannot really fix anything until we ALL start to live mindfully and stop hurting the earth and each other.

That is up to each and every one of us.  Sometimes true, we just get so tired all we want to do is give up and give in.

That too, is our choice.  We do the best we can and jeep on keeping on, or not.

and to add to is, here's a song that illustrates your point with awesomeness:

Though I don't understand this 'we' stuff.  You've made it clear to everyone that you are not an American.

If your definition of good is my definition of unacceptable, then I am indeed the enemy of the good.

        •  excuse me? the diaries and comments in this (0+ / 0-)

blogsite ONLY apply to Americans?  and what is your definition of American?  I have made it clear to anyone who reads my comments that I was BORN in England.  What my status is is none of your f....g business!!!!!  is there some kind of litmus test here that I am not aware of?

It is very much part of traditional American character and rugged individualism that we can fix everything.

I am not really in the mood for your snide remarks today. My former husband, my son's father, my grandson's grandfather, is in the hospital having had a stroke last night.

He was born in Hungary and came to America as a refugee in 1952, he received his naturalization papers five years later.

What is the point of that remark?  WE ARE THE WORLD.

          •  I apologise for that outburts. I do not need to (0+ / 0-)

be pouring petrol on the burning pyre of dreams, because of my own anxiety and pain right now..

I offer this picture I just took in my garden to soothe my soul, I hope it will soothe others too.

            Peace and Love.

and sorry about the home situation.

You should really re=read my comment.  I rec'd yours, added something to it, and only THEN questioned your use of 'we' because I thought it was odd, not that I think you are a bad person or something.

              peace to you

              •  I did and I still do NOT understand your divisive (0+ / 0-)

remark about what you don't understand about your assumption that I am not an American. A. I consistently state I am dual, or doesn't that count in your vision of purity? b: WTF does that have to be about the universal struggle to stay balanced?

As I said, I was not in the mood for your warped and often mean sense of right and wrong.  My tendency is to stay well clear of you and your comments. You snuck up on me and kicked me when I was down and for that I apologized, not to you, but to the community, many of whom are truly truly hurting.

I have no strong belief structure in nationalism or patriotism and comically actually do consider myself a child of the universe and since I am a LEGAL immigrant in your America I have the same rights as you, in this blog as well.

As you see, I am recovered.  For a moment there you got to me, but I am better now.

If I could be bothred I would post you the Peter Tosh/Muick Jagger song 'Pick Yourself Up' and back atcha!

                •  wtf (0+ / 0-)

all kinds of animosity and for what?

Again, peace to you.  Meant it then and meant it now.

If your definition of good is my definition of unacceptable, then I am indeed the enemy of the good.
