    some employers will label themselves as "pot-friendly", but most will still be able to use it as an excuse to fire people and not pay out their WC claims if they get hurt while it's in their system.

    I would suppose that you could have a medical exception, but employers could (and rightly should in some cases) put in a "no-drug-use" clause in an employment contract for some positions.
