  •  "Gutting?" What is this, Fox News? (6+ / 0-)
    1. As stated upthread, the "gutting" would come via defunding, which would cripple the EPA and make them almost toothless.

After reading this diary and Politico and I don't know where you pulled this nonsense from.

Here's what you either don't know or are intentionally distorting:

    1) Some Senators want to block the EPA from regulating Carbon Monoxide beginning this January, and put it off for 2 years, which of course is the wrong thing to do.

    2) They're not cutting the budget.

    3) In fact, Obama raised the budget for the EPA from 7 billion dollars to just over 10 billion dollars with his first budget (a 42% increase). And his next budget is set to give EPA over 10 billion again.

    Here's the FACTS.

Feel free to get your facts straight and fix the diary, or just let it ride, Fox News style.

Jeeze, we bought two hybrids to try and cut down on carbon dioxide. Talk about wasted effort! Although they also cut down on CO also ( I almost wrote CO too, lol!)

Moderation in most things. Except Reactors. IFR forever!
