  •  NO (4+ / 0-)

one is pretending anything when they clearly said this:

"Messaging has been poor" in traditional media outlets, but it has NOT been for a lack of trying. It's been for a lack of cooperation.

This is not the fault of the organizers, it's the fault of those who are dropping the ball on public service announcements or advertising.

That would be the corporations who own "free tv"--which, according to you, is the only "media" that "the hood" can afford.

If Health Insurance Reform can wait until 2015, then so can any changes to Social Security.

You could do with a little less defensiveness.  I did not excuse media at all.

      •  just as (0+ / 0-)

you could do without the smartass tone:

if you want to pretend that the internet and tweetin gets you everyone who matters to a march of this type, go ahead.

        •  It Was a Tone (0+ / 0-)

That responded to YOU dismissing out of hand, just because it's upsetting to you, a legitimate concern that I raised.  Had you not gone there, you'd not have gotten what you got in terms of "tone."

          •  No, sorry (0+ / 0-)

            This was not dismissive:

"Messaging has been poor" in traditional media outlets, but it has NOT been for a lack of trying. It's been for a lack of cooperation.

            THIS was dismissive:

So, if you want to pretend that the internet and tweetin gets you everyone who matters to a march of this type, go ahead.

Will you be emailing MSNBC, too? Save your vitriol for them, please.
