    ...that will destroy and privatize public education through the use of proven-ineffective "reforms," then Christie and Booker should tell him to take his money and go somewhere else with it.

    Unfortunately, Chris Christie is a Republican, meaning that he's actually hell-bent on destroying public education; the addition of a hundred million dollars from another vapid billionaire to his agenda is only a boon to him.

    Even more unfortunately, Cory Booker is going along with the scheme, helping not only to destroy public education and one of our country's historically most powerful labor movements, but also helping a dangerous Republican get national prominence in the process. Tell me why again the Democratic Party shouldn't just flip Cory Booker the bird?

    What have you done for DC statehood today? Call your Rep and Senators and demand action.
