      It's not that raising the top marginal rates have nothing to do with job creation.

      It's that raising the top marginal would probably stimulate job creation.

      If you are a small business owner, and you have a bottom line that is in the black, and you face the prospect of paying a higher rate of personal income tax on profits if you take the money from that bottom line home, are you not more likely to reinvest more of that money in your business - money that is then NOT taxed - growing a business that may in the future yield even greater profit?

      Reinvestment in business means not just equipment and bricks and mortar, but people. You know, people as in employees. Jobs.

      Not only is a myth being peddled, but a deliberate subversion of garden variety economic common sense is being sold as the truth -- when it is, like most things being used to gin up anger so that the very rich can continue to steal the nation's wealth, exactly the opposite of the truth.
