  •  Remember, Murkowski was polled 30 points (10+ / 0-)

ahead of Miller in the primary. 30. Look what happened there. Polling Alaska is tricky.

(this was from her interview on Talk of Alaska yesterday)

    •  Have the papers made endorsements?... (1+ / 0-)

I asked this question yesterday in an Alaska diary but didn't get a response.
It's an interesting choice for the Alaskan papers and voters.
I was disappointed that the St. Pete Times endorsed No Party Affiliation candidate Charlie Crist over true Democrat Kendrick Meek for US Senate from FL. Ordinarily, the left-leaning paper would have endorsed Meek, but Crist (a Republican all his life until he was losing in the polls this year to Teabag candidate Marco Rubio) has lived in St. Pete for awhile. As current governor, his mansion is in Tallahassee, the seat of FL government. But he comes back to St. Pete quite a bit.
I voted for Meek on Tues. (early voting) and then attended a big rally with Meek and Bill Clinton in St. Pete.

      •  Not yet. ADN seems to finally be acknowledging (4+ / 0-)

McAdams.  They've been way down on Miller.

        •  Thanks for your response... (0+ / 0-)

Most FL papers gave their endorsements awhile back because early voting started this Monday.
I certainly hope McAdams is endorsed by some papers.
He has been running a positive campaign with upbeat and funny ads. Perfect. He doesn't need to go negative.

FL has early voting, which started this Monday. I believe all the FL papers printed their endorsements before early voting started.
I voted on Tuesday, right before the rally with Bill Clinton and Kendrick Meek, Dem. candidate for US Senate, which I attended!
Good luck with voting in Alaska.
