From Kurtz's weak piece which discusses Gurleck:

Gannon, who was turned down for a congressional press pass, says he's been stalked and threatened by some "nuts" on the left. "I'm a pioneer," he says. "Guys on the front lines, they get shot at, and hey, I'm willing to take it."

LOL.. apparently he isn't willing to "take it" since he quit.

And he claims he quite because he was being "stalked"...

...yeah pull the other one, it has bells on it.

    cheers,

    Mitch Gore

I don't know about you but when Jeff Gannon, JD Guckert, J. Daniels, Or Jim Guckert tells me something you can take it to the bank!!!

Why would you question the reliability of Jeff, Jim, JD or J's word?

      •  As if a pseudonym isn't a problem? (none)
        WTF?

In this old article, Howie ackowledges and then just dissmisses the fact that a White House-credentialed reporter writes under a pseudonym.

Is it that common? Kurtz doesn't think it's such a big deal, I guess...

        Who knows?

I did not receive $ from Ketchum, U.S. Department of Ed or HHS to write this---though I wish I had.

        •  The sentence in question (none)
"...Gannon, who uses a pseudonym -- he declines to reveal his real name -- sees a "double standard" in criticism from such liberal groups as Media Matters..."

        •  Well.. yes he is... (none)
not using a pseudonym would be a problem for Gluckert... becuase his real byline at this point would be "Mud."

          cheers,
