I can't wait to see who Talon will get next if anyone. I personally think that we have seen the last of them.

People has commented on why Gannon used a real name and wasn't a real journo.

But who else would do it?  No real reporter would knowingly go into the situation that he did where you would copy press releases and ask softball questions.  Only someone who knew and did not want a long term future as a reporter would risk throwing credibility away like that.

So Talon has to now go out and find something tougher to find than a kid with a degree and who worked at a college paper, someone who is willing to give themselves up for the good of their cause.  Someone who does not want or care to be a respected journalism.  You don't pull a Gannon with years of investment and thousands of dollars of student debt to pay off.

This is not important at all.  What is important is that Dan Rather used forged memos, and that Eason Jordan said something really dumb and Barney Frank called him on it.  Gosh, you people never see the big picture; do you?

      •  It's ALL important (none)
Dan Rather and those at CBS who didn't do their homework were wrong. Period.  BUT Rather did not 'pretend' to be a journalist "plant". Gannon is a gay porn website performer/owner/doer/ along with secretly pretending to be a legitimate journalist [while really a  shill for WHouse]. This has NOTHING to do with being a liberal or conservative, as both have a right to their beliefs, [and expressing them honestly]. This sleaze pretended to be an objective journalist....His background is deplorable, and the White House over-reaching is likewise.  Follow the money on this, and you'll see that Gannon has been secretly paid with taxpayer funds and illegally rewarded until he was " outed" (in more ways than [one]).  I wonder what Gov't. Dept. paid for this tawdry excuse for a "journalist"?.

I agree with everything you just said.  Sorry for the confusion --- guess sarcasm in writing does not come out so well.

As someone else once said somewhere, there needs to be an html tag for sarcasm.  Someone want to work on that?

I may not agree with what you say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it. -Voltaire
