...the Republicans have, basically, gone "all in" in Wisconsin.

It's not enough that they have received a massive, ongoing  in-kind political contribution from five of the most corrupt Supreme Court injustices in American history and can now count on unlimited amounts of money from corporations.

Now, in addition to getting unlimimted amounts of money from corporations, Republicans want to kill off one of the Democratic Party's most consistently loyal constituent groups: unions.

If the Republicans are allowed to kill off unions and continue to the beneficiaries of unlimited amounts of corporate money, they will have achieved their lifelong dreams: purchasing themselves a permanent Republican majority, enabling them to do anything they want, including killing off Social Security, killing off the Food & Drug Administration, killing off Civil Rights protections, killing off worker protections, killing off consumer protections, etc., etc., etc.

In my opinion, the Republican can either win everything or lose everything with what's going on in Wisconsin. We must stop them.

analysis last night.  I don't know if you watched but it certainly bear's repeating, ad infinitum.

For those in Wisconsin, losing is not an option.  Meathead Walker is holding back his complete budget proposal until this bill is passed for a reason.  He says the collective bargaining elimination is needed to give school districts and local government "flexibility" to deal with the budget cuts in his budget when he introduces it.  And even though the unions say they will agree to the financial concessions in this "emergency" bill, he won't compromise and leave collective bargaining in place.  That tells you how bad it will be.  I hope those Senators stick to their guns and stay out all spring if they have to, and I hope the protestors keep showing up until the legislature grinds to a halt.

And you are right - the other R states are next if they get their way in Wisconsin.
