  •  Google Doc spreadsheet to aggregate information (6+ / 0-)

I've rolled a Public google Spreadsheet where I will begin to aggregate recall information.  Skeletal at this time, but will quickly grow.

      •  This online organizing is great. (7+ / 0-)

There are many there, however, who are not part of a group, or union.  Many "general" Dems (who appreciate the severity of this threat for what it is) and others are there, and many older folks who may not be internet-savvy, beyond email (if that).

I hope someone on the ground can coordinate how to get some contact information (simply name, preferred means of contact, and district number) from those legions of fed-up people, in a way that the people will not be leery of.

That's why I think the "official groups" could ask those in their vicinity (or move through the crowd) to "join them" on the contact list they are compiling for a future recall effort.  This would be the easiest way.  The work would be divided between the union/groups, they would keep the info with their own, until the time came, and people would be more likely to trust them.  PLUS, it would involve contacting only a few group heads, and they would delegate the rest from among their ranks.

A handful of people up there could do this rather quickly, I think.  Maybe ask Ed Schultz who to contact - he and his producers no doubt know who these people are, by now.

I've got a feeling that there are enough people to effectively cause recall elections for several (if not all!) of these 8 senators, if they could just be "found", and that rally is a unique, one-time opportunity.

Hope I'm helping, some.  Were I there, I'd do it!  Please keep us updated... thanks again!
