    it is 25% of the votes cast in the latest gubernatorial race, in a district.  That was 2010, and turnout was rather low.  There's a diary that delves into it, with numbers, and on the whole, the situation looks good.   WI has "friendly" recall laws...

      not all that hard in eay weather, but there's less mass events to work if we're starting right away, which allows for actual elections before colleges close.

      If we delay for easy collection weather, we'd want to go late enough to get student voters after they return.

      (We parsed a lot of this logistics at the meet for the Harsdorf (UW River Falls and UW Stout) seat in my living room yesterday. if we're not actually collecting in a week, it waits until around May 1st.)
