This company bribed Greek officials with millions. Those officials approved $1.5 billion contract for submarines that were designed for the North Sea (and thus could not be deployed in the warm waters of the Med).

While the world goes around blaming the average Greek citizen for bloated pay and pension, or blaming them for not paying enough taxes (neither of which are true), no one ever stops to look at where the real money went. I tallied up $150+ billion in boondoggles over the last decade alone.

ThyssenKrupp and Siemens are two scummy companies, and they excel at laundering German money through legalized schemes (i.e. German banks lend money so that their partners at Siemens and ThyseenKrupp reap huge contracts through corruption, and when the country can't pay, the German taxpayer gets the bill, while all the executives--and corrupt Greek politicians--go home happy).

    This is looting.

There are two kinds of people in this world. The kind who divide the world into two kinds of people, and the kind who don't.
