    A little more than a decade ago, a supervisor and his superior were convicted of homicide in the deaths of Maine workers.  Those two men made decisions and gave directions creating a grossly unsafe work practice, directly resulting in death.  I would like to think that the same charges would be made today, with the same result.  Now, the guilty were not wealthy, and their company was not large.  Nevertheless, there is at least one example of charges like this being leveled at irresponsible employers here in the U.S.
