OK

If you haven't seen this footage, it was originally broken on Kos by Horace Boothroyd III.

Well, the police explained that they weren't looking for cameras, they looked at the linked arms, and decided that linking your arms with someone else is, in fact, violence.

"The individuals who linked arms and actively resisted, that in itself is an act of violence," UC police Capt. Margo Bennett said. "I understand that many students may not think that, but linking arms in a human chain when ordered to step aside is not a nonviolent protest."

So linking your arms is violence, and justifies this:

Right.

Because it's the STUDENTS who are the violent ones here.

TheOther99 is committed to covering smaller Occupations. It's our mission to make sure that the whole world is watching our occupiers, no matter the size of the occupation. For too long, people in positions of authority have been able to count on a disinterested, lazy, news media. If our news companies wont do the job, we will. But we need your support to continue to do this work. Please contribute to our Media Fund, and help keep us reporting. If you want to know more about our situation, please read Jesse LaGreca's post, or send me a message here at Kos.
