Chris Christie isn't the only Republican to speak out against the NRA's disgusting ad that lampoons President Obama for opposing armed security in schools when his daughters have guards at theirs. Earlier today, the Republican national committeeman for Tennessee, John Ryder, also spoke out against the ad.
“I think the use of the President’s children in any such ad is inappropriate,” Ryder said in an e-mail. ”I use different language, but I’m not from [New Jersey].”While this hasn't gotten as much press as Christie's comments, Ryder's comments could potentially be more important. This isn't just a Republican national committeeman speaking out--this is a Republican national committeeman from a state with a LOT of gun owners.
