They're still at it and they aren't going away.  The Dream Defenders and their supporters have been occupying the capitol building in Tallahassee, FL since the Tuesday after George Zimmerman was acquitted for the murder of Trayvon Martin.  They are demanding that Governor Rick Scott call a special session of the legislature to repeal Florida's notorious Stand Your Ground law.  The Stand Your Ground law is symptomatic of the cultural sicknesses that lead to innocent people dying unnecessarily on a regular basis in Florida.  It needs to be repealed and there are dozens of brave, young, fired-up men and women working hard to make that happen.  You see, as their name suggests, they would prefer to live long enough to realize their dreams without feeling like their lives are in danger every time they walk to the convenience store for candy.

They could use your help.  It's not easy Occupying an un-air-conditioned building in Florida in July.  The floors are hard, the air is hot.

Here's a link to the Dream Defenders' Wish List:

Please consider helping them out.  They are our future.

Oh, and here's where you can check out more on what they're doing to make Florida a safer place to live:

9:40 PM PT: Sorry it took me so long to delete the other one... chalk it up to my newbieness if you're feeling charitable.  At any rate, please support the Dream Defenders and what they are doing at great personal sacrifice to promote the right to life in Florida for ALL people.
