I just found a great new tool that will make every Kossack a potential on the spot reporter. It's called
Audioblogger and it's available free for Blogger users. I know audioblogging is nothing new but Blogger has really made this as simple as can be. All you need to do is call a phone number put in you passcode speak your message and once you hang up it will immediately appear in mp3 form on your blog. I think it has some real potential to get us news in real time that will most certainly not be covered by the mainstream media. We should definitely try it out for the convention in Boston but I think the real potential won't be realized until the Republican convention in NYC where real potential for illegal arrests and detention most certainly will exist.
This will give us a tool for broadcasting in real time the inevitable civil rights abuses and state sponsored injustices that we've all been reading about happening at Bush campaign stops. If someone arbitrarily moves a "1st amendment zone" we can now document it right away. If someone unjustly gets arrested for carrying a sign of protest while standing next to a person holding a sign of support - we can now be there as well. Hell if Dick Cheney goes on another obscenity-laced diatribe we can get that as well. Think of this as a kind of reverse big brother. Now you can blog from anywhere in the world! I think all Kossacks should sign up for it just in case you find yourself in this
situation (it's a tiny mp3 file just click "open"...my apologies to Steven Colbert)
It's a new revolution, now you can report the news as it's happening...even as it's happening to you :(
