Mine are teenagers, and both came to their own conclusions regarding Bush, the war, and the rest. I wouldn't say they were particularly politically inclined - - in fact if they would just read a newspaper now and then I'd be a bit happier. Nevertheless they see how government affects their lives, from school to the economy to the potential of military service.
The morning after, I simply said,
Well, guys: you see what a mess your parents are handing you, just like our parents handed us a mess.

Just keep in mind, 55 million people voted against these bastards. It wasn't quite enough. That's still a lot of people on our team.
