Michael Leunig's contribution in today's issue of the Melbourne
Age:
Australia is lucky to be the home of Michael Leunig, a cartoonist-cum-philosopher. Leunig's imaginary world, populated with ducks, tea pot men and goat transportation, reveals the absurdity of the "grown up" (read f_ed up) one. His work often captures complex emotions rarely expressed in other media. Some Australians find his work depressing- IMO because it is an accurate reflection of a depressing world.
For more about Leunig see my earlier post.
