The odds are that we'll be seeing a concerted move from the wingnuts over the next few hours and days to change the story about the armor crisis in Iraq.
Drudge and others have been seizing on the fact that the question about missing armor was planted by a journalist with the soldier who asked it. The talk is turning to the old "liberal media."
Don't believe the hype!
Update [2004-12-9 14:7:57 by TNliberal]: Keith Olbermann covers the story, spin-free.
The reporter, Edward Lee Pitts, is from my
hometown newspaper, the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
The paper is owned by conservative Walter E. Hussman, of Little Rock, Ark. But who is the executive editor and publisher, you might ask? Tom Griscom, who served as communications director in the Reagan White House!
Clearly no liberal media bias here. Just a good reporter taking advantage of a good opportunity.
