There has, in the past few hours, been alot of discussion about Congressman Conyers who now says he will be objecting to the Ohio electoral votes, and needs a Senator.
Out of curiousity, who here thinks that this actually has some legitimate shot at reversing the results? Personally, I really dont. But I do think this can and if we get a Senator, will, expose so much voter fraud etc., and will make sure it does not happen again in 08.
Also, what Senator do you think will object? We want the entire Democratic "leadership" to object, but unfortunately, I do not see this Democratic Party objecting.
I think the people who are most likely to object are:
- Jim Jeffords. From Vermont, no party backing to be scared of, etc.
- Paul Sarbanes. Likely to retire soon, to the left, from Maryland...
- Kennedy. Has established himself more and more as to the 'left' end of party. And hey, its Massachusetts!
- Byrd
- Boxer.
- Harkin
- Leahy
Some small possibilites:
a) If Kerry somehow decides not to care about his reputation, he could do it. But it truly would kill his reputation
b) Obama- If he really wanted to be the leader of the Left... but I doubt it.
c) Leiberman. Just kidding.
what do you think?
BTW--- if you are inclined, please reccomend this.
