So the Electoral College challenge is over. We probably won't hear much more. What we found out was that they decided to do the minimal amount necessary to appease the rank-and-file and the blogosphere. For some reason, Boxer was sent out as the sacrifical lamb. That the Democratic leadership couldn't make their party line up in unison will just embolden the wingnuts.

It is painfully time for new leadership. It was obvious the Democratic Party line was we don't like the procedure but we agree with the result. The the status quo IS SO FRAIL that it couldn't withstand a Ukrainian-type challenge. Let's face it, the Democratic Party is AFRAID to practice democracy. It is now clear that Howard Dean must become the chairman of the party and help the grassroots take back control of a party.
