"I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is. Hallelujah. Holy shit. Where's the Tylenol?"

That about says it all...
In my view Bush poses a greater danger to our nation, and "the actions taken by the Bush Administration" border on treason.
Thank you for your correspondence regarding the Great Britain's "Downing Street memo" and pre-war intelligence on Iraq. I appreciate hearing from you.
As you know, on the eve of national elections in Great Britain, the Sunday Times of London disclosed notes taken by a British national security aide on meetings between U.S. and British officials. The paper reports that U.S. intelligence was "being fixed around policy," and that military action against Iraq was inevitable.
While I certainly understand the concern generated by this story, it does not change the fact that Saddam Hussein posed a grave threat to the international community, his neighbors, and our nation. The evidence clearly demonstrates that Saddam Hussein led one of the most oppressive and dangerous regimes in the modern era. Over a 12-year period, and through a total of 17 United Nations resolutions, Saddam Hussein repeatedly defied international law. Accordingly, I feel that the actions taken by the Bush Administration fulfilled the first and fundamental commitment of the Federal government to defend the United States against its enemies.
I do not believe the decision to engage in military operations in Iraq was made lightly by the Administration. Accordingly, based on the information developed thus far, I do not believe impeachment proceedings of the President are either warranted or would serve to advance the cause of truth and justice. In fact, I feel they would do otherwise.
That having been said, as a newly assigned member to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, I look forward to having a direct role in helping meet the challenges faced by the intelligence community. The committee is responsible for overseeing activities of the U.S.
Intelligence Community, including the annual legislation that directs its operations and spending. Having the benefit of your views will be helpful to me in this regard.
Again, thank you for taking the time to share your views with me on this issue. I hope you will continue to keep in touch on this and other matters involving the federal government.
With best wishes, I am
Sincerely yours,
John M. McHugh
Member of Congress
