Inspired by catnip's diary
UPDATE: Daily Kos Diary Series Compilation, which she was kind enough to update with mention of the "Wa Gov" series I wrote during the original count, machine recount, and hand recount of the Gregoire-Rossi gubernatorial race, I offer this guide to the contents of that series.
I admit that there's an ulterior motive to this diary -- the link provided by catnip went to my personal dKos page, which displays my eight most recent diaries. The WA Gov series, my "claim to fame" on dKos, is now barely visible on that "front page" ... a couple of wrapup reports at the bottom of the page. What I'm doing here, then, is to establish a "pointer" to the series, a reference to the series that will appear (prominently, I hope) on the page you see when you click on my name in a diary or comment I write.

In the future, I intend to examine the contrasts in county-level voting patterns between Gregoire-Rossi and either Kerry-Bush or Murray-Nethercutt (or both?). I'd also like to look at the precinct-level King County results to see whether they had a poll vote/absentee ballot differential in the governor's race that was anything like what Paul Lehto found in neighboring Snohomish County.
Meanwhile, at least the series is visible again for a little while on my own "front page".
