His rhetoric in
this diary is way over the top! He certainly doesn't speak for me, or any other Democrats that I know. We should have learned long ago that it's best to placate our benevolent overlords, not call them idiots.
And for invisible deity's sake, never, never say that they're wrong!
More on the flip, if it pleases the mighty masters of triangulation.
Why, I'm just as partisan as can be, but one thing you've never heard me do is stoop to saying the other party, gentle souls that they are, are
wrong. I just think the rhetoric is too harsh and needs to be toned down.
It might be said that from time to time we disagree on the facts, but when I am shown to be correct, I know that the proper thing to do for my party is to change which side of the facts I'm on, or simply pretend it never happened.
I just don't know where Bill in Portland Maine is coming from, but I'll have nothing to do with it, and I join the Republicans in calling for either a thorough apology and refutation of all factual claims facts in his diary, or his immediate resignation from the top of the recommended list.
Really, it's just so inflammatory. I've never understood all the excitement over Bill in Portland Maine and this diary. I suppose it's theoretically possible that his mother, or a drunken badger may have at one time loved him, but I've certainly never met anyone who can bear to stand downwind of him, much less speak with him for any length of time.
Bill in Portland Maine, it is time to apologize for this diary. Let the divisive behavior stop here!
