This is a new side of the Bush Administration. They're acting
scared.
Let's take a look at the evidence, shall we?
Before this week, this crew would tell any lie. They told the world that Saddam had WMD, when they knew better. They pretended that Saddam was connected to 9/11 and then bald-facedly argued they never said that. They said war was a last resort, when in May 2002, they had decided to invade Iraq.
Now what do we have? Instead of straight lies, they are stonewalling. I just saw a clip of Ken Mehlman saying that Rove "has said he wasn't the leaker." That's like saying "David Lee Roth has said he's hot for teacher." Mehlman isn't saying Rove isn't the leaker, he's saying Rove said he wasn't the leaker. These are two entirely different things. As we all know, Clinton said he didn't have sex with that girl.
This is something new. These people are scared. What are they so afraid of? Are there tapes? Who knows--but it is a new face of this Administration. Obviously we must push as hard as possible.
