Just a short little diary, and probably better suited to an open thread, but I post perhaps two diaries a month, tops. So sue me.
Today the
Daily Herald, one of the big three Chicago area newspapers, and one that is distributed predominantly to the GOP heavy collar counties, printed an LTE I sent them that I never thought would see the light of day.
Question that should be asked of Bush
Later this month, when George W. Bush has completed his five-week hideout from Cindy Sheehan, and his approval numbers have sunk even lower, his supporters may have to ask themselves a variation of an age-old question: Why didn't the chicken hawk cross the road?
I write lots of LTEs. Most of them get published. None of them have ever been as snarky as this. I wrote this more to make myself feel better than with an eye towards publication.
I think the fact that the paper would choose to print this, unedited, is just another-albeit miniscule-indication that the wheels are coming off the wagon for Bush.
