Families of fallen soldiers and Marines are being told they have the option to have the government-furnished headstones engraved with "Operation Enduring Freedom" or "Operation Iraqi Freedom" at no extra charge, whether they are buried in Arlington or elsewhere. A mock-up shown to many families includes the operation names.

What's next? Nascar style ads on the coffins? Beside this being really really icky, I would like to point out that identifying someone by military mission, given the constant changes of slogans and defining time frames, could actually put the families of these fallen soldiers in danger. If some insurgent/terrorist gets killed in Operation Enduring Clusterfuck, then their families might take out revenge on the families of the soldiers.
These brave men and women should be simply honored by acknowledging their service to our country and not put on display like a McDonald's commercial to sell us on bad political decisions.
