Russ Feingold's PAC just launched a contest to see which one of 12 congressional challengers will receive a $5,000 contribution from the Progressive Patriot Fund this quarter. You can vote online today, see link below.
From the contest:
When Russ Feingold founded the Progressive Patriots Fund almost a year ago, he did so in part to help Democrats get elected at every level. Now, he's looking to the grassroots to help him select a Congressional challenger to support for the 2006 election. Vote for your favorite candidate and whichever candidate has the most votes at midnight on December 14th will be awarded a $5000 contribution from the Progressive Patriots Fund. The Progressive Patriots Fund hopes to repeat this event for other races throughout 2006, so after you vote, please consider making a contribution so that we can continue to support great candidates.

One of the 12 nominees this quarter is Chris Carney (who I work for).
From the contest bio:
Chris Carney is a veteran of multiple foreign military operations, a Lt. Commander in the Naval Reserve, and an Associate Professor at Penn State, teaching U.S. security policy and international relations. Chris faces scandal-plagued republican incumbent Don Sherwood in the Pennsylvania 10th. Chris believes that, as each additional Iraqi battalion becomes operationally independent, an American battalion should come home. Chris wants to make Washington get serious about national security, healthcare, Social Security, and energy reform.
Chris and the Pennsylvania 10th represent a huge pick-up opportunity in 2006. I encourage you to vote for Chris, but there are also some other great candidates listed here:
