On Saturday I posted a diary reporting that my son had returned home from his tour in Iraq and mentioned a few things he had said.
Unfortunately, shortly after doing so my wife and I had to take my mother-in-law to the emergency room and by the time I got back, the diary had disapperaed from the front page.
When I went to look at it, there were far more comments than I had expected and the list of names that had recommended the diary overwhelmed me.
Because I had not been able to respond to many of the comments, this is a blanket "Thank you" to all who made very supportive comments welcoming him home and who took the time to recommend the diary.
Quite honestly, this is part of what Kos is all about. It almost seemed that for many of you a member of your family had arrived safe, not just a member of mine.
And if anyone wants to say that the left does not support the troops, all they would have to do is read the comments on that diary.
Again, thank you.
