The article speaks for itself, no teaser, its worth the read.
Not that this should surprise anyone ... really just an extension of the "to the victor goes the spoils" mindset of the corporate raiders and war profiteers that are now running our country.
While the article centers on fairly obvious abuse involving a case in Georgia there are a number of other notable pieces, included among those are the shrinking of the staff at the DOJ voting section, and the side lining of the career lawyers and staff in favor of political appointees making key decisions. While Roe, Rove, K-Street, Torture, Domestic Spying, and Iraq are the public face of the evils of this administration, this back room gaming of the system, manipulations that are too complicated and mired in red tape to seem interesting or have the sex appeal to get on the news is where the majority of the long term damage to civil liberities and democratic process will be done.
