After finally conceding last week that Colbert is a "generational" thing, Tweety has gotten himself a primo guest spot on The Colbert Report next Monday.
This would be the same Chris Matthews that asked White House Communications Director Nicolle Williams "Why do you think he was so bad, Colbert?"
To my knowledge, Monday nights Colbert Report will mark the first time Steven Colbert will interview one of his many detractors.
Does Steven have a forgiving heart the size of his big brass cajones?
Is Matthews so full of himself he thinks he's going to somehow rehabilitate himself and come off as a good ole boy,? Will he give us all a wink and a nod, and say he was getting it all along, and isn't really one of those White house lackeys?
Will Steven, ever in character, keep the interviews focus squarely where it belongs - on Bush's manly characteristic, wrapped impressively in his parachute harness?
Will there be drooling?
I can't wait!
