YearlyKOS is almost here, and that means time is quickly running out for you to get signed up. On-line registration will close TUESDAY NIGHT (edit: sorry I didn't mean tonight) at midnight eastern time. If you do not register on-line, you can still register on site but the price will go up to the full price of $360. So if you want to register at the $150 price, you need to hurry.
To sign up go to:
http://ykosconvention.regomatic.org
If you have any problems registering on-line, please contact me at
regomatic@regomatic.org There have been a few problems people have run into that can usually be solved pretty quickly. If you try to sign up tonight and run into problems, I'll make sure you get in at the early registration rate if you contact me about it before registration closes Tuesday night.
Common problems
The two major problems are cookies, and spam filters. If you try to sign up and can't get the e-mail with your temporary password, you should check your spam filter and see if you received it there. If you still didn't get the e-mail, please contact me, and I'll try to help figure out what's going on.
As for cookies, you must have cookies turned on to register. This is because of how the integration works between our system and PayPal. Next year I'll try to do this without cookies (if all goes well), but for now, you do need cookies enabled. If you try to log in with your username and password and get returned to the login page with no error messages, it usually means your cookies are turned off. If you enable cookies and it still doesn't work, please contact me and I'll try to help resolve it.
Finally, there has been some confusion about the YearlyKOS site versus the conference registration site. You do not need an account on yearlykos.org to register for the conference. The conference registration system is totally seperate and does not use your YearlyKOS or DailyKOS ID. All access to the registration system is dones using an e-mail address and password.
So if you have any problems, please e-mail me and I'll make sure things get taken care of. I appreciate all of your patience with the issues we have had with the system and I hope to improve things dramatically for the next time.
