So... as we enter the final days of Q2, the fundraising appeals are hitting the ol' inbox fast and furious. I've heard from the DSCC twice in the past 4 days.
Friday's letter was Subject:-ed "Subversive" and came from Chuck Schumer, and today's was called "The Politics of Fear" from Barack Obama.
My responses on the flip...
First up, Friday's note to "Sen. Chuck Schumer, DSCC" (really just info@dscc.org, I know):
Not a dime more until the DSCC promises to back the winner of the Connecticut primary. Period. Whoever it may be. If Senator Lieberman formally leaves the party (after being AWOL for quite some time now), he needs to be cut loose.
Until Senator Schumer repudiates his comments of a few days ago concerning the possibility of backing Lieberman in an Independent bid, I'll be supporting the DNC, and certain other candidates, including Jon Tester, directly.

And then today's note went to both "Sen. Barack Obama, DSCC" (also just info@dscc.org) and to Senator Obama's campaign at info@barackobama.org:
Dear Sen. Obama,
As soon as Sen. Schumer commits the DSCC to supporting the winner of the CT Senate primary -- whoever it may be -- and retracts his speculation that the DSCC might support Sen. Lieberman in an independent bid should he leave the party after losing the Democratic primary, I'm in for at least $250 and more as the cycle continues.
Until then, I'll be supporting individual candidates directly.
Best regards,
