Joementum has cancelled his final two events due to low tunrout and participation. Not a good sign at all. I bet he needs the time to revamp his remarks for tonight blaming bloggers/the left/hackers for his pending loss.
Maybe Ned Lamont should show up to the polling places in the spirit of "Joe let you down again, I never would."
Joe, meanwhile, has cancelled the last two events of his 10-day bus tour this afternoon because there were not many voters at the polling stations. So he's going back to headquarters to call mayors, union leaders, and other allies, aides said.
There seemed to be a subtle mood change on the Lieberman bus this afternoon, after a 24-hour period when the senator seemed newly optimistic.
Mr. Lieberman did not say he was pessimistic, to be sure, but the fact that he scrapped his last events after going non-stop over two days seemed unusual. It's not as if all of his other events drew overflow crowds in recent days; several of the events had few people in the audience beyond campaign aides and volunteers. Some of the Lieberman aides, meanwhile, seemed more concerned about the web site collapse than anything else.
