Thin, thick
pussing from anger,
waiting for a
pinprick.
Your pimples
and eczema
come from within.
And psoriasis,
Land of the stressed out,
the malnourished,
and the misled.
Our defense mechanisms,
our displeasure,
our desperate cry for truth
is a 'common malady'
treated with corticosteroids.
We're an inflammation.
An immune response gone wrong.
We care about skin.
Mine
Yours,
a child
drinking DU water,
an innocent with leukemia
because we "liberated" them.
We care about skin rightly,
macaca,
there is more skin than skin.
What we don't care about
is the pustules,
the eruptions,
the rock star hoo-haa
of the skin we each live in
everyday.
Skin is our life,
you don't want mine.
