The current administration is lying to you, and they are lying to the United Nations.

For months, I and others at DL/Oakland have been warning you of volumes of reports regarding this administration's desire to conduct secret missions in Iran. There are now even more reports of aggressive and illegal operations, which are already underway.

But wait, there's more...

And then, there's Jack.

Jack Cafferty of CNN on Iran c/o Crooks and Liars
(Click here for Jack Cafferty of CNN on this issue.)

The International Atomic Energy Agency complained last week about a House Intelligence Committee report on Iran's nuclear program. It said parts of the report contained, quote, erroneous, misleading and unsubstantiated information, unquote.
But the committee stands by the report, saying that the substance is clear. Iran may not be there yet but they're working on making weapons-grade Uranium. Sound familiar? This is the same jive we were fed in the run-up to the with in Iraq. Remember? It all turned out, though, that International Atomic Energy Agency was right back then. Iraq didn't have any weapons of mass destruction. And look where we are in Iraq now.
Here is the question, "whom do you trust when it comes to Iran's nuclear program: the U.S. or the International Atomic Energy Agency?"

If the neo-conservative patsies from PNAC are allowed to continue their rush into another preemptive war, in violation of international law and United Nations treaties, we will have no one to blame but ourselves. This goes beyond treason. This will potentially be our NEXT war against humanity -- following our attack on the sovereign nation of Iraq.  This is not just about Bush & Co. (i.e. Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Bolton, Rice, etcetera). These individuals are pawns themselves, who work for the money masters and bankers who run the Council of Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, and are members of the Bilderberger Group. When you hear people invoke the term, the "New World Order," it is the leadership of these organizations that people are talking about. Multinational bankers and industrialists, who buy and sell politicians, through lobbying and other methods cannot be trusted to maintain our personal economic prospects, let alone our sovereignty.

How do you fight back? You start at home. Participating in local politics, in any way, has a direct and positive affect on the quality of your representation. If we allow the treason of this cabal to continue, we will be at their mercy. Standing up and fighting back slows down their advancement on our personal liberties and economic prosperity. This is what I recommend:

  6. REPEAT...

I strongly urge you to contact your Senators and Representatives in Congress. This is a critical time in our nation's history. If you care about the direction we're headed, you must be part of the solution. (See item #1 above.)

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from your hotlist?
Are you sure you want to remove your recommendation? You can only recommend a diary once, so you will not be able to re-recommend it afterwards.
Rescue this diary, and add a note:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from Rescue?
Choose where to republish this diary. The diary will be added to the queue for that group. Publish it from the queue to make it appear.

You must be a member of a group to use this feature.

Add a quick update to your diary without changing the diary itself:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary?
(The diary will be removed from the site and returned to your drafts for further editing.)
(The diary will be removed.)
Are you sure you want to save these changes to the published diary?

I'd like to see that regime up in smoke.

... that in order to be "part of the solution" we must first hold our candidates to a litmus test.

We should make those running for elected office (especially those running for the U.S. House of Representatives) vow to hold hearings on all that BushCo has done in the last 5-years. Not promise to vote for impeachment but rather to just hold comprehensive hearings.

I believe once this administration has been exposed for what they really are -- the evidence laid out before Congress and the American people -- an overwhelming vote for impeachment of both Bush and Cheney is inevitable.

Candidates who earn my vote must assure me they will uphold their end of the bargain by actively working on committees and introducing legislation which will hold the current administration accountable for their actions.

earlier this year and closed up shop, we probably won't hear much from them.

I heard they formed a new group called ANAH (Asshats for a New American History) and are working on rewriting the events of the past 5 years to more accurately reflect the undeniable love, accolades and new allies heaped on the US since Bush got into office.

you may already know this, but PNAC, as an organization is not that significant. Admittedly, it is an interesting collection of current (and former) Washington insiders and neocons. However, the real power lies in the other entities I sited in the original post. The CFR, Trilateral Commission, the Bilderberger Group... oh, and the attendees of the annual gathering of the Bohemian Society in Northern California.

Most of the members of these various groups are the same. Some of the names which are most notable are: Rockefeller, Warburg, Peterson, House, Quigley, Nixon, Brzezinski, Albright, Greenberg.
